Ein Stück, komponiert in situ in der Residenz bei Glogauer (Berlin), während derer Vincent Laju die Themen Leere und Anhäufung entwickelt. Mit Interviews über diese Themen mit mehreren Künstler*innen in verschiedenen Sprachen und Feldaufnahmen arbeitet er mit Wörtern und Umgebungsgeräuschen, die als Rohmaterial dienen. Dann formt er es mit leichter Elektronik. Die Musik des Shakuhachi handelt von Abwesenheit und ihrer Resonanz, welche durch die elektronische Arbeit tendenziell hervorgehoben wird. Stille ist ein zentrales Element.

Piece composed in situ in residence at Glogauer (Berlin), during which Vincent Laju develops the themes of emptiness and accumulation. From interviews about this theme with several artists of different languages and field recordings, he works with words and surrounding sounds that act as raw material, then he sculpts its with light electronics. The music of the Shakuhachi is about absence and its resonance which electronic work tends to highlight, silence is central element.
